Benefits

What are the benefits of Digital Marketing?
There are many benefits to having fully optimized digital marketing campaigns and a website that is up to date with the latest SEO best practices. The various elements involved in optimizing a website are in many instances the same elements which can lead to an improved user experience as well as greater brand visibility. The goal with each of my client's websites is not only to increase visits and lower bounce rates, but to increase brand awareness and of course most importantly sales. At this point you may be thinking okay, so what are the specific benefits?
Cost Effective
Compared to other forms of traditional marketing and advertising, digital marketing is relatively inexpensive especially when you consider what you're getting in return. Once we're able to attain prominent organic placement for your website in the search engines you get exposure and referrals from the biggest websites in the world (Google, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) for FREE. And the ROI for paid advertising campaigns is considerably better compared to TV, print, radio, etc.
Brand Visibility
In terms of SEO people performing searches in Google, Bing, and Yahoo quite often don't go past page one results. There are of course many good, relevant, high-quality websites that are on page two or three, but 90% of people don't ever go past the first page. By optimizing your website we will increase your brand's visibility and help drive more traffic to your site.
For paid campaigns, the targeting, tracking, and analytical data that can be leveraged will help to increase your business’s visibility online, in the most cost effective way.
Customer Acquisition
Ask any business executive or entrepreneur and they'll all say the same thing; acquiring a new customer is both the most costly and time consuming endeavor that they must continually undertake. Why not utilize the most cost effective, high visibility medium currently available today? It only makes sense to be where your potential customers are looking, and the vast majority of people today go online to find businesses that can fill their specific needs. No matter what type of product or service you sell, there are no doubt people looking online every single day to find companies exactly like yours.
Findability
Whether you're launching a brand new website or you've already built up your brand, you want people to be able to find you. This doesn't only pertain to new customers either. You also want people who have purchased something from you in the past, or heard of your company offline or through word-of-mouth, to also be able to find your website. Not only do you want them to be able to find you website, you want them to be able to find it with ease.
With a fully integrated digital marketing campaign that leverages the various channels available today (PPC, SEO, social media, email, retargeting, etc.) you will ensure that both potential and previous customers will be able to find your website.
User Experience
The interaction users have with your website is of the utmost importance. Your website should guide users and help them to find exactly what it is that they are looking for. They should leave your site with a good feeling, not out of frustration. Many of the elements involved in optimizing a website also help to improve usability. Take broken links for instance. They are bad for SEO and they are equally as bad for users. Fixing broken links helps to improve the optimization of your website while at the same time improving the user experience.
Brand Perception/Reinforcement
How your company is perceived plays a large role in whether or not customers want to purchase the products or services you sell. One of the key factors involved in perception is that consumers subconsciously expect to see your brand in certain places and/or at certain times. For instance when a user performs a search relating to a product or service you sell, they are looking for something (subconsciously) to reinforce their brand perception. Brand reinforcement is a key part of SEO and digital marketing and helps to further solidify their perception of your brand. If your website doesn't show up for keyword searches, or in social media conversations that it should, customers will begin to question their perception of your brand. This is of course something you don't want to happen. However if your website ranks for the keyword searches it should, this helps to reinforce their perception which will in turn have a positive impact on their overall perception of your brand.
Increased ROI
At the end of the day, it's all about sales. If a marketing initiative doesn't increase sales, brand awareness, or at least provide qualified leads, its value begins to diminish as a result. And rightfully so. Digital marketing provides a high ROI and you only pay for the visibility that you get. In addition you need someone with the skills and experience to manage and strategize to ensure that you are getting the best ROI possible. That's where I come in.
